How to order

There are several ways of ordering and payment options available at Bedford Yarn Boutique. You can:

Place your order directly using the online store.
Place your order by telephone by calling 01234 330848. We do not currently have the facilities to process credit cards over the telephone, so we will send you an invoice by email or post to be paid using any of the options below.
Place your order by post accompanied by cheque payment.

How to order online

It is very simple to shop with Bedford Yarn Boutique. Use the Shop link in the top navigation bar or use the links on the front page to browse through our products. To find out more information on that product simply click the products image.

To purchase a product click the "add to basket", link. You will then be given options to continue browsing through the website adding as many products as you require or alternatively, click the "checkout" button and chose your checkout option you require.

If paying by cheque we will email you an invoice to be printed and returned with your payment. Goods will be shipped on clearance of funds.

If you choose PayPal, you will be directed to follow PayPal express checkout where you can enter your username (email) and password.

If you choose to pay via Google Checkout, you will be emailed an invoice. Both PayPal and Google Checkout allow you to purchase goods from Bedford Yarn Boutique by debit or credit card without revealing your payment details each time you shop.

Once this is done, we will then send you an automatic email confirming your order. Please print and retain a copy of the order e-mail for your records.

Ordering by Telephone

If you prefer to place an order via telephone, please contact us on 01234 330848 and we will handle your order. We recognise that some people may prefer to have a 'personal' service and advice regarding their order. However, it may be worth noting that the telephone can be busy during peak periods. Telephone orders are available between 9.00 am - 5.00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Ordering by Post

To order by post you will need to print off a copy of the order form- please use the contact form in the top navigation bar to request one. Once you have completed your order form you can send it with an accompanying personal cheque to:-

Payment options

We also have several payment options, making ordering from Bedford Yarn Boutique secure, easy and quick. You can choose from any of the following:

BACS - We prefer payment by BACS. This is the cheapest, simplest and quickest option available to you if you have a UK bank account and use online banking. Select BACS as your payment option and complete checkout. You will then be sent an invoice with our BACS details and goods will be dispatched once payment has arrived in our account.

PAYPAL - If you have a PayPal account you can pay securely using your debit or credit card using the PayPal Checkout system. In checkout, please select the PayPal Express Checkout option and you will be shown through the rest of the payment process.

GOOGLE - If you have a Google account you can pay securely using your debit or credit card. Select regular checkout and select Google Checkout as your payment option. You will recieve an emailed invoice from Google Checkout and be shown through the rest of the payment process.

CHEQUE - If you are in the UK, you can pay by cheque or postal orders. Use the contact form in the top header bar to request an order form and send your completed form and cheque in the post to the address below. Your goods will be dispatched on clearance of your cheque.

We now ship world wide! We send all of our parcels by Royal Mail 1st Class within the UK, and Royal Mail Air Mail to Europe and the rest of the world.

When will I receive my order?

I do not list items that I do not currently have in stock. If it's listed on this site, then it's here waiting to be packed up and sent to you! Orders are picked up every day, and if you pay by BACS, Paypal or Google will be dispatched the same day. If this is not possible (due to bank holidays, Christmas/New Year etc) we will email to let you know your expected delivery date.
